Initial Site Meeting

We will begin with an initial site visit/meeting with the homeowner in order to:

• Meet and discuss critical information with you to identify full septic design requirements, 
• Identify constraints such as ground water, wells, road cuts, rough topography, building and structures, 
• Identify critical set backs (i.e.: wells, ground water, rivers, breakout points) and non-critical set backs (i.e.: property boundaries), and obtain all information necessary to begin the design of your septic system. 
• With the information obtained from this initial meeting, we will determine the best possible location for your septic system. It is important you provide as much information as you can at this stage in order for all approvals and designs to be as efficient as possible.
  
  

Soils Analysis and Final Design

Once the site is determined, we will conduct full analysis of your soil by investigating and classifying:

• A minimum of two test pits (2ft x 4 ft x 5 ft), and
• A minimum of four permeability test holes.
   

The final analysis of site and soil conditions will dictate the type of septic system allowed on your property. Soil analysis is typically a 2-day process including onsite work, assessment and required preliminary drawings for health authority submission. Once the approval from the Health Authority has been received, final design is then completed. Final design will take 3-5 business days depending upon the complexity of the design necessary.

Installation and Commissioning

This is the final step.

• We will provide a full set of stamped drawings of your septic system.
• You will send out your information package to any number of registered septic installers (ROWP/ASTTBC certified) or Professionals in your area.
• We can also help in project management at this stage if required and provide pricing back to you.
